Claim of Bigbasket that they are providing us fresh and quality products is all farse

Hello Friends!
Just want to share my bad experience with Bigbasket. We had ordered eggs of Free cage eggs which is a FSSAI licensed product through Bigbasket thinking that it would be the best as the Bigbasket claims to provide the customers fresh and quality products, but to our horror when we received the eggs they were rotten and full of fungus.I have realised that these big companies are cheating us and how so ever hard we try we can forget getting good quality food.We have made a complaint to FSSAI hoping the government will surely take some action against these erring companies and cancel the license given to them.

Please be careful and make sure what you and your family are consuming is good.

Ashim , Food safety enforcement officials are hand in glove with the food retail giants They throw around their weight and penalize the small players quotes FSSA and CPA rules . You very well know the reason why .This is basis my first hand experience. Sharing judgement of CDRF a long won battle for justice . more
Yes, We had same experience . If you make a complaint , Your money will refunded . Inspite of that they should make quality / Pre delivery checks before despatching the items. That they fail to do always. Most of the time things are not fresh. more
That one stamp on the product we are bound to close our eyes and buy anything .We have been witnessing many such complaints about a variety of commodities . FSSAI should also be a more honest to their responsibility of certifying the commodities free from all such health hazardous complaints ; and not just stamping . CERTIFY & STAMPING IS A POWER RESTED ON THE FSSAI AUTHORITIES NO DOUBT; WITH POWER ALSO COME RESPONSIBILITY. WHEN SOME ONE REACHES A POST OF AUTHORITY SHOULDNT FORGET THE SECOND PART FOR WHICH POWER HAS BEED CONFIRRED. more
Now rather than expiry on sweet s more important is to have strict standards for no adulteration , hygienic preparation for all food items more
FSSAI is itself a joke. Have you wondered how shanty restaurants get FSSAI approved license? more
Yes agree with you. Recently have experienced the same in case of Parle products more
