Irony is when officials travel , it's made that everything is in perfect state and smooth. Employees make it up that way THIS IS THE STATE POLICY .......... SO THE OFFICERS SEES ONLY GOOD THINGS !!!!!! IT IS FOR US TO SUFFER ............. more

Why can't a railway official on an inspection travel incognito. why does he have to travel with a host of fellow railwaymen and make a nuisense of themselves!!!! more

Irony is when officials travel , it's made that everything is in perfect state and smooth. Employees make it up that way . It's better if an online complaint mechanism that links your cell phone to the concerned official exists and periodical reviews of such complaints linked to the officials promotion is done. RESPONSIBILITY is what it matters. more

I recently travelled by sleeper class on the Mangalore - Pondicherry train. The western toilet in the coach I was in, was broken. The toilet door on the opposite side was jammed. When I informed the TTE, what he said was surprising - "you can inform the people at Pondicherry". If this is the attitude of the railway staff, it is very, very disappointing. Whoever is concerned, must ensure that the railway staff become passenger friendly. After all, passengers are the ones who pay the salaries of all railway staff. This applies to senior officials like DRMs, mentioned by Shri Kannan K in the comment above. When senior officials travel by train, they should sometimes travel incognito by all classes and check first-hand, the actual problems faced by the travelling public. Only then can they ensure better perfomance of the railways. more

DRM's are travelling in a separate Luxurious coach to inspect the amenities & other infrastructures provided to the passengers. How he can correctly verify all these things by travelling in a separate coach. more
