Educating people about cleanliness is a must. There must be heavy penalties imposed for littering and throwing garbage in public places. Secondly, the railway track area across India must be kept clean. This is a awful sight in India contrary to that in western countries, which is pleasant. People defecating along the tracks must be stopped and there must be public toilets for everyone. more

I see all the so called 'educated' people throwing garbage into the storm water drains, rivers without any thought. I wonder what could solve such a problem - making then pay fines?, education ? i wonder more

I agree plastics should be banned and people should be fined heavily for littering. Proper waste disposal techniques should be implemented. Funds should be invested in better technology to clean streets and public places. It is disgusting how garbage overflows in some public places :/ more

Since the date of implementation the said rules in J&K, let us see what are the effects till today.Accordingly our GOVT. should take a needful action to save the sovereignty of our mother India.No need to referendum from the people of India to making any confusion in this regards. more

plastic bags and plastic sweet & crisp packaging should be banned in india and replaced with bio-gradable materials. more
