clean up IRCTC
Booking tickets in irctc is pain. Servers are awfully slow.

the simplest solution is to reduce advance booking to 7 - 15 days, half of the problem will be over, thereafter tatkal & normal booking will bring in better results, this will also eliminate multiple bookings, also con be a check when one get confirmed booking on same route he can be bared to book more than one ticket in different classes more

I think now you have to check with the new URL "nget.irctc.co.in". It is very fast and there is no any agent login so very easily we are getting tatkal ticket. I am telling based on my experience. I have taken 5 tatkal tickets witht he enw URL. They are migrating the users form the old server to new, so it may be possible that your one is in process but you can check with the new URL, if you have been successfully mograted you will get the new page or you will be redirected to the old one. Hope you will like the new URL. more
