Cleaning of lakes in Bengaluru

After about 2 years of trying to get permission to clean our neighborhood lake - the Alahalli Lake at JP Nagar, I am glad to advise here that we have started last week

The efforts of our NGO Pavitra Foundation with our Truxor Machine and the Allahali Lake Neighborhood Development Trust have been successful and the cleaning is now underway. The local ML Mr M Krishnappa and Corporator Mr K Somashekar have extended full support and we thank them

We brought this unique amphibious machine specially here all the way from Pune

More neighborhoods could get their residents together and do the same

We are available to assist and advise

Good NGOs are taking efforts to clean lakes/ponds and market places/parks. Such efforts will really add to the Swacha Bharat mission. However, children /students are to be educated on this , so that Swacha India will be realised and lakes and ponds and green covers -precious gods gifts are saved for a better and healthy environment of all living beings! more
Thank you sir for taking the initative to clean Bangalore lakes. Most of us are like armchair critics of the system. But your NGO has worked on the actual part.. hope BBMP takes up the equipment to clean up Bangalore lakes and bring it back to the Bangalore of the 80s, especially if helpful in east Bangalore fast growing part of the city. Hopefully it doesnt end up like the python machine imported to fill the pot holes (contractors not interested since you have to put the right ratio of the mixture for the equipment to work and the machine is dying a rusted death) more
Thank you Jagannatha Rao Sir and Ramakrishna M Sir more
Mr. Ramakrishna, any information about its cost, tech-know-how, post-sale services, suitability or otherwise to Indian environment to ensure against dead-stock etc. more
