Lets go the airport way.make 7 to 10 entry gates and check tickets right at the gate. This will reduce the unnecessary load on the platform more
It appears that the railways and especially Rajdhani management do not plan to improve their pathetic services. This is like cheating passengers by giving us false promise of a good service. I do not understand why they even call it a "premium Train". It is not even a distant shadow of a true Premium train. If this is India's so called premium train, imagine what the ordinary trains will be!! I doubt anyone of the concerned authorities reads these complaints. Why do the services not improve then inspite of so many complaints. The Railway minister should take serious note of these complaints. I travelled twice with my family in May 2015, once from NJP to NDLS and again from Nizamuddin to Madgao. I had booked these trains thinking i will enjoy the journey & get superb service. But i was totally disappointed. The train from NJP to NDLS was very very dirty(disgusting) And it was made dirty not by the passengers (as the authorities would like to blame), but by their own catering staff who were duty bound to keep it clean. They used to throw away the food in the vestibule of the train and in the wash basin. The basins were blocked and so were the toilets. I never saw train supervisors coming for any inspection of their staff and how they work. Is this the "Swacch Bharat" they promised. At the end of the journey, the staff comes and asks for "baksheesh" as if it was compulsory. They used to literally demand (like extortion) for the so called "good service" they had given!!. This illegal practice has to stop. The food menu remains same throughout the journey and the food is pathetic. People feel Rajdhani gives "free" food. Completely wrong. The cost is actually higher! You pay Catering charges while buying the ticket. Seriously speaking, there is no point travelling by any Rajdhani. The ordinary express trains are much better and cheaper than these trains and you get to buy variety of food there. It's better to travel by flight than the Rajdhani! more
Dear Sir Request you to pls increases frequency of local train from Panvel to Thane. In morning there is 8.06am Thane fast from panvel after then direct at 9.16am from panvel. There is a huge gap of more than 1 hrs in peak time of morning. There should be a train between 8.30 am to 8.40am. Also we can extend all trains starting from nerul to panvel as nerul is intermediate station now. Also request you fast train should halt at khandeshwar while return from thane to panvel. more
I took train 12223 LTT- ERS Duranto on 10/6.Here is a brief on my experience. 1.The station was stinking all over the place. 2.Rake in position as I reached at 20.15hrs.Electronic display on only at 20.30.Charts pasted around the same time.My berth was in B1. There was a coach AB1 near the front end which confused me.But I walked up to the tail end to locate my B1. Only after I took my seat the display came on and chart pasted. 3.During journey 139 and national train enq differed on scheduled arr.17.45 with a red aster-ix acc to nte 20.05 acc to 139.Train arrd at 21.45.Both agreed it was 4hrs late! 4.Food was just about edible. The catering staff meticulous about their tips so also the linen supplier. 5.The bed linen were warm and crisp. more
Cleaniness in general has imporved, though the improvement is gradual but we can see the change. Only expecting the government to do all the work is not right, the passengers must also know their responsiblity.. more
