6. Dumps are not cleaned regularly by the municipality
7. People use corners and empty spaces to throw garbage
8. Shopkeepers throw garbage on the roads
9. Municipal workers don’t do their job well

I agree with Shri Q JSsHAIKH THAT GUTKA, PAAN AND TOBACCO MASSALA SPITTING IS A HUGE MENACE. EVENRELOGIOUD PLACES, WHERE PEOPLE GO FOR WORSHIPING THEI GOD ARE NOT SPARED. ONE METHOD IS TO CURB IT IS, AS SHRI SHAIKH HAS SAID, MAKING IT TOO COSTLY AND OUT OF REACH OF THE MASSES. AT SOME PLACE, STAIR CASES WHERE PEOPLE USED TO SPIT THE OWNERS OF BUILDINGS HAVE FIXED RELIGIOUS PICTURE-CARRYING TILES. THIS HAS TO QUITE AN EXTENT ARRESTED THE MENACE AT SUCH PLACE, IF SOME PEOPLE STILL INDULGE IN THIS BAD HABIT, THEY SHOULD BE PUNISHED HEAVILY. more

Gutka and chewing tobacco is common with young generation. Labour class, farmers are victims of this habit. Students are joining and feel that this eases the study tension. The habit is on the increase despite restriction on sale of tobacco and Gutka. Mouthful with tobacco/Gutka saliva spitting at any place is a compulsion. Government should impose total ban or increase the price so that it becomes out of reach of a common man. In Maharashtra and Karnataka you will hardly find any public place which does not have stains of tobacco/gutka spit. more

Punishment to large mass on this aspect is not practical and may cause chaos. Inspiration through media as is presently in practice may do a lot. more

Many people spitting even when in. traffic riding on bike or in car or traveling on bus. These culprits should be heavily punished. They should be trained to spit at its designed zone or in a spitbag which they should carry and dispose in the bins more
