Cleanliness in Trains & Stations - Inputs
Dear Railway Circle Members:
We would like to seek you inputs on different trains and stations where you have had a positive experience as far as cleanliness goes?
This is a key priority for Railways and as we start the implementation of the Budget, we would like to understand and know of any examples/good case studies that are worth reviewing and referring to.
Based on your inputs, we will do a deep dive study of the existing cleanliness practices/processes that are working well.

Hi, I would like to say that there is no cleanliness at all. For example if we say to those people who collect money for the toilet service says that they cannot improve. There should be cleaning for atleast once in a hour. Replacement of toilet basin atleast one in a year. Grievance should be properly handled. more

There should effective pesticides or insecticides used for cleaning the train. I have seen cockroaches in sleeper and AC coaches more

vigilance should be strict. bed sheets & pillow covers are not cleaned at all particularly when the train is in return journey. care can be taken about it & passengers also should be educated how to use the public properties & they also can be educated that the public properties can also be used as they used to use the same in home. more

How it's reduce there should be no English toilet in sleeper class and general boggie and water more

like buses you can show the vacant seats and the compartment for booking so that we can select our seat preference . more
