Cleanliness of Railway Tracks

How to ensure cleanliness of railway tracks , In our countries railway never cleans the tracks and since as the local municipality is not responsible/ authorised to clean the railway track and there surrounding tracks and their surroundings are never clean. There should be plan for cleaning all around the railway tracks . Pls suggest how to take this forward more

For railway tracks not to be dirtied, the companies to whom cleaning of wagons has been outsourced must instruct their cleaners not to throw all that they sweep out of the doors of running trains. They much store the waste in bags and unload them at big railway stations where facilities for recycling exist. more
sure clean all rubbish and see to it that new rubbish is disposed of without adding to rubbish on roads, stations, public places is the simple but difficult way to keep India clean more
I had earlier also posted regarding the areas around lodhi colony railway station, which is used as place for open defecation, urinal and heaps of polythene bags and filth. On both the sides CPWD quarters are located. This area needs to be pruned by keeping big dustbins and boards depicting THROWING OF GARBAGE PROHIBITED. May be need for sulabh style public convenience required. This area unfortunately, has a sai mandir, huge crowds commuting through the local train, a huge market place, with food eateries/shops on road. God knows what is the state of health of the eaters there? The commuters and passers by, have to walk through the filth and nastiness. This area falls with Railway authorites, but surrounded by CPWD houses and managed by NDMC. Who will bell the cat? Swach Bharat is nowhere present here. more
I do agree that Station master should ensure that at Rly stations, My concern here is the raly line running through the city and villages, no body in Rly Cares for those Rly lines and they are full of Garbage . There should be system in Rly Dept to clean the tracks after a defined frequency , yes we as citizens should also ensure no through garbage at tracks. more
Form a civic Forum. Meet the Station Master once in 15 days, and take a round of station with him. more
