Coca Cola must be booked

I see the example shared of schwepps water by coca cola having no mrp and a small bottle being sold by bookmyshow for 100 rupees.

This is not just mrp violation but also profiteering. How can a 10 rupees bottle be sold for 100 rupees inside a stadium.

I request gst anti profiteering authority to also look into this. If Sandhya can share the location where it happened it will help mrp and gst officials.

And coca cola must be heavily booked for flouting the laws of India. more

I experienced similar situation in the Chennai Domestic Airport where I wanted to purchase a packet of mints costing Rs.10 outside. The shop owner demanded Rs.100 and when I protested, explained it was imported. Why should we be forced to buy imported items at exhorbitant prices in the Domestic Airport when the same items are available locally at far cheaper price? The Airports Authority should examine this matter. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 8th March 2018 more
As consumers, we need to be more vigilant and boycott consumption of coca cola, pepsi and other aerated sugary drinks. They make us unhealthy. On part of Govt., it must make it compulsory the contents in these drinks to be displayed prominently on the bottles/packages. If they don't agree, they should quit India. more
YES. To make Soft Drinks lot of Drinking Water is wasted. If we are Concerned & Respect Our 'Annadaata', we must avoid Soft Drinks. more
I feel boycott consumption of coca cola is a very fair idea. Swami Ramdeo has done a lot of work in this field. Regards. more
YES, I Strongly Support. With the loopholes in the Law Coco Cola and Pepsi are minting money by selling unhealthy soft drinks, and drying all our villages by sucking ground water needed for agriculture. more
Fully agreed. Thanx. more
All we avoid stadium...they come down more
In my view, the Government may not be able to control on the price fixation as MRP. It is the prerogative of the manufacturer to fix the price as MRP and the market forces should enable to control the amount to be fixed as MRP. However, the Govt is at least expected to ensure that the consumer is having its "Right to Choose" that means the consumer should be able to buy water of any brand or may be able to bring its own water from the outside and come out with a legislation according. It is seen that Govt. has been failed miserably in ensuring the consumers rights being protected at least in the situation of multiplexes, PVRs, shopping malls etc. I have personally come across the free water being available in the multiplexes except one in Noida where I raised the issue and was ensured provisioning of the same in the next visit. We as consumers also need to raise the issues and ensure that our rights are protected. Demanding protection of your rights is also one of your responsibility. more
