The EC should be strengthened to monitor the conducts of the s/elected representatives. If they find any issues with code of conduct of any of the representative, it should ask general public for next steps with possible options. Also in case of any material divergence of the information provided by the representative through affidavit, the same process should be followed. more

Agree on the points. Need to see when this issue will materialise into an effective law. Unfortunately this may cause hassle to EC as there may be need for many re-elections for the offences. more

Supreme Court though confined to discuss on these matters and notified to E.C., still to be taken-up. Public and National Interest demand this long pending issue for immediate Reform .
1. Electioneering , Offences relating to Elections of IPC need to be re-visited and Regulated
2. Those Convicted on Social, Financial or National Offences shall not be allowed to Contest in any Elections
3. Political Parties shall Account all Receipts, Payments and Expenditure and shall submit the Audit Report to CEC every year failing which their recognition shall Seize by end of the stipulated period.
4. Regulate a Law imposing imprisonment of minimum 7 years for those do not disclose Cases on issue 2 above.
5. E.C. shall Sue the Individuals caught with Black Money/ Unaccounted Money ; Goods during the Election period and notify to Public also displaying in their WEB
conditioning disclosure of value of Such worth Seized immediately with in 7 days of the Election Date
6. EC and Parliament shall Regulate the Performance and Duties of Elected Members both in Houses as well as outside making them responsible to the Constitution and Conduct of Business in the Houses. more

Yes Sir, The over enthusiastic politicians are proud of them selves and try to prove their supremacy everywhere. Our honorable Modiji has tried to control them and he asks the progess reports of their areas often. Modiji has forced them to declare their assets. Many undisciplined ministers are punished. Ministers are also after all Indian citizens only. They should not forget the office protocols. The corrupted ministers should be terminated with an immediate effect. They should be faithful to the citizens and justify their duties and responsibility. more

They can start by paying income tax. On reading GST taxes, you pay some 18% to Govt for brushing your teeth (toothpaste) and bathing (soap). Has this now become a "luxury"? Is it not a must for all? A group of citizens (not party members) should be allowed to spend a day (better a week), studying MPs daily life (and perks, including family), suggest what to chop off in their entitlements. Also, specific methods to define what constitutes MPs performance. "Representing downtrodden masses" is not performance. Travelling on taxpayer dole for party activities is not entitlement, for example, should be paid by the party. more
