It is an interesting discussion for and against upto 2 cups of coffee per day and also effects of adding Chicory to coffee. Let the experts guide us. We are waiting! more
Usage of coffee in Souther parts of India is very high. Due to very high cost of good quality coffee beans (called 'pea-berry') it has become a common practice to add a powder of " Chicory" to the roasted powder of coffee. This not only gives a different taste but also adds strength to the coffee decauction which helps in reduced consumption of high cost pure coffee powder when used in a home filter to make coffee. Can our enlightened members advise the benefits/dangers of using Chicory and what effects will follow when used as a mixture of coffee. more
I don't think so Rajaji, because coffee is strictly banned for deppresed people, see why it is restricted to only three cups for normal persons even. so for depressed even one is deadly. more
