Cognitive Decline in COVID patients
More worrisome study, cognitive decline in recovered COVID19 patients was found across severity level—largest among those hospitalized (& also among those not hospitalized). The decline in hospitalized patients was equivalent to -8.5 IQ point drop!!!
That equates to cognitive decline over 10 years aging. Decline was more pronounced for tests that assessed problem solving & visual attention. Study controlled for age, gender, education, income, racial-ethnic group & pre-existing conditions.

We are yet to know many of the side effects that can come in short and long term depending on the body systems of each recovered covid patient. Better get vaccinated as early as possible and continue to take covid precautions like proper wearing of mask while in public. more

If true, what are the remedies to reverse the trend? If there is no solution, then all ex-covid cases have to bear this in mind and take help from psychologists. more
