Come together to demand Right to Sit

Tamil Nadu passed a law making it mandatory for shops, storefronts, and commercial establishments to provide employees with seating facilities. Kerala did it earlier. Right to sit is right to dignity of life and right to health. Lets demand national law for the same.
So many factories and shops and trading businesses where employees are supposed to stand all day. more

Some times the job demands Standing. But in such cases a Stool is provided. For example if you are working in a Lab, you are provided with Stools. more

The way we are going, we will want a law even for breathing. And laws are not implemented nor easy for the common man to go to court. Be practical. more

Standing all the day is really painful. Some arrangements have to be there. more

People, wherever they may be, if standing for a long time without much movement, are likely to develop varicose vain problem. Hence, seating is essential for good health; but should not be sitting for too long a time. more
