Companies and Brands who indulge in Dual MRP

I have seen the following brands publish dual MRPs which will be illegal practice come jan 2018 per the founder of this circle - our consumer affairs department. If everyone reports the brands/makes who are doing this, it has a chance of stopping otherwise it could just go on and on.

I have seen Himalaya, Catch, Qua, Kinley, Bisleri, Coke, Pepsi all publish different mrps on their bottles.

pls list brands that you have observed following this practice...it must be stopped more

A common place you find these fmcg brands providing higher MRP’s for smaller quantities are Airports, Cinema halls, Restaurants (such as Dominos) etc. more
Del monte paper boat all doing same more
The culprits are the authorities who are responsible to frame laws. Who bars them in using simple language intelligible even to a common man leaving no scope for misinterpretation to derive undue advantage? Why not the laws framed to regulate the MRP concept clearly mandate against fixing up of dual or more MRP for the same product with provisions for stringent action against those found guilty of minting illegal money by duping the consumers? Probably, they are also the stake holders of such money collected illegally and unethically! more
The shops in the airports and the big malls take the premises after paying an exorbitant rents and it is not fair to expect them to sell a bottle of water at the same price as the footpath thapri outside..The bottles supplied to them may have a different MRP (- probably higher) and the ones sold at other places may have a lower MRP..It is left to the buyer to buy from where at the price mentioned as MRP..This simple logic should be understood and appreciated instead of insisting on a fixed MRP at all points of sale.. If we don't, either the airports will not sell water or the govt should not charge a fabulous lease rents and the same logic is applicable for a variety of items of common use..!! As a common man I also like to have a single MRP but is it feasible in all cases..?? Point to ponder..!! more
There should not dual MRP. Government has to curb such activities. more
