Compulsory catering in Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto

Why are passengers denied the option of making alternate arrangements for their meals? At present, we have to pay the 'catering charges' COMPULSORILY when booking tickets. Then we HAVE TO TAKE whatever standard or sub-standard food that the catering contractors give. Passengers cannot do anything as they have already paid.

Please give us the option to book our tickets with / or / without catering.

If we want the railway catering, we will pay for it. Otherwise, we can make other arrangements. Or we can also purchase items of our choice from the pantry car waiters.

BUT AT LEAST GIVE US THE CHOICE.!!! more

tHE OPTION WAS PROVIDED EARLIER BUT AS USDUAL OUR BOARD TOOKE BRIBES FROM CONTRACTORS AND RESTARTED IT. THAT SI HOW OUR HAFFTTA BUSINESS OF RAILWAY GO ON. ORDINARY CITYZEN CAN BARK BUT OF HAFFTTAKHOR GOONS WILL NEVER LISTEN. RAILWAY IS FAR WORSE THAN PNB. WE ARE REMINDING THIS GOVT YET IT IS SILENT AS IT WAS IN PNB AND ULTIMATELY PRODUCED NIRAV MODIS. KEEP IT UP. NATION CAN BEAR SO MANY PNBS AND SO MANY NIIRAVS. more
choice need to be given by making it optional like bed in the Garib rath. more
Beginning of optional food option will force vendors to improve quality and services. Train timings should be regulated in such manner so that train reaches destination before Lunch/Dinner timings. more
There is nothing wrong in - Compulsory catering in Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto. But there should be a check and balance in the standard of food supplied by the pantry, for which we have already paid. The opinion of the customers can be taken or any complaint should be taken with all seriousness. more
ARE RAILWAY INVITES ONLY FOR CHAT OR DOING ANY CORRECTION ON THEIR SCHEDULE / PASSENGERS BENEFIT / LOW FARE OR LOOKING TOWARDS ONLY TO RAISE FUNDS WITH NEW IDEAS TO MAKE FOOL TO INDIAN PASSENGERS. IF RAILWAY GOES IN PRIVATE HANDS WE SURE THAT THE BETTER SERVICE WILL INTRODUCE & WE WILL BE HAPPY THEN THE CURRENT SITUATION. more
