CONCESSION IN ALL CLASS FOR SENIOR CITIZEN & PERSON WITH DISABILITIES
We (all senior citizen & person with Disability) appeal to the government through IRCTC to again allow concession in all trains & also in upper class. This was permitted in past but since last Two months this concession is stopped. I say that it is the senior citizen & person with disabilities (or both) need better facility to travel. All such person should make appeal to Government & our Honourable prime minister. more

There is no point in the decision of the railways exempting the senior citizens from the travel fare concessions in higher classes. This is totally unfair as there is a need to provide comfortable seats/berths to the senior citizens in view of their age and services rendered to the government and the society. It is not right on the part of the Railways to compel the senior citizens to travel in 2S and Non-AC three-tire berths if at all they want to avail concessions, while even the ordinary young employees of the Railways prefer travelling in higher classes without tickets/unauthorized way. Will the Railway Minister intervene and address the discrepancy? more

When the govt is trying to improve the lifestyle of its citizens, it is strange to note that higher class concessions are now denied to senior citizens. On the contrary when lifestyles are to be improved more concessions be given for higher class travelling to senior citizens to ease their life further. more

Has the Railways withdrawn free passes to retired Railway employees and their dependents? Has the Railways withdrawn free passes to serving Railway employees and their dependents, not for official duties? more
