Concessional Certificate for Physically Challenged

Now more than 8 months have elapsed since the submission of Application with all required documents, still neither I have heard from DRM's office nor received Concessional Certificate for Physically Challenged which should have been issued in 2 months time as per the directive of Ministry of Railways.
I request Local Circles to please take up the matter with government as many physically handicapped persons (Divyang Jans) might be suffering on account of non issue of Concessional Certificate for Physically Challenged to them. more

Govt has started special reservation option for Handicapped people in irctc website for ticket booking but sorry to say that ID card are not provided by important stations Like Barddhaman(BWN) in Eastern Railway and does not have any form to apply for the Handicapped ID card. Very much Shameful. Barddhhaman Station Manger is telling us to go to Howrah because he is not aware about this type of ID card from Railway..Very Very Shameful. more

same is happening with me,I have applied for the concessional certificate on 23 may 2016 at the age of 59 years female HANDICAPPED senior citizen in DANAPUR RAILWAY DIVISION WITH ALL BONAFIDE DOCUMENTS.BUT STILL TO DAY I AM WAITING MY ID CARD.I HAVE TWEETED TO DRM DANAPUR AND ULTIMATELY TO RAIL MINISTER BUT ALL ARE IN VAIN.THIS IS CALLOUS BEHAVIOR OF RAILWAY TOWORDS HANDICAPPED. more

At present railway concessional certificate is already issued for 100% disability persons only and bus pass for up to 40% disability. Physically handicapped persons are denied driving license for the safety reasons hence they must be given bus and railway concessional certificate for travel irrespective of percentage of disability. more
