Congestion at NH8 - Mahipalpur to Rajokari & Back

Many Hotels and Farm Houses have come up in the area in contravention to the NHAI Norms. Multiple marriages and functions in these illgally allowed farm houses hold traffic to ransom right up to Subroto Park from Rajokari and vice versa. The Traffic Police does not act and NHAI, DDA and other authorities refuse to act, consequence criminal wastage of fuel and man hours. Pleasure and convenience of a few cannot become problem for thousands of commuters who are forced to suffer for no fault on their part. more

Dear Mr.Sood,I am with you and it is unfortunate that the atmosphere of this peaceful and well spread Vasant Kunj is vitiated by: These farm houses These motels Multi-story construction in Kishangarh Vegetable market on every Saturdays on Aruna Asaf Ali Marg which give Vk a slum feel Pucca construction by jhuggis near B 5 &6 rampantly on day night basis It feels that we are out of place in the present society as we can not afford to take this wrong path since we graduated. Thanks Navin Kapoor more
Ref: CONGESTION AT NH 8 I am in full agreement with you,but can anything be done.Keeping in view our national character nothing will happen. Its a blend of many. I agree with Anil Soodji. That is one of the reasons. Not only on NH8, but everywhere in Delhi. Baraat procession gives more trouble than marriage itself. Lack of driving sense is a major reason for all traffic chaos. Every educated person who blames others for one or other reason, when time comes he/she does the same mistake. Law also can enforce couple of things very strictly like they did the common wealth game lane. When CWG lane rule can be enforces that strictly then why not lane driving? On NH8: I think Delhi Police creates a lot of traffic jam everyday beteeen 9-11 pm, just after the toll place, to get bribes from trucks. DTC also plays a major role. It doesn't do maintenance to its buses on time as a result their buses break down at very sensitive traffic places, viz: on flyovers, signal lamps, narrow roads, under pass, etc. more
Need to improve law and administration with new NHAI rules more
