Congestion/cold medicine

Struggling with congestion last 2-3 days, done steam and vicks. Is Vicks Action 500 the best tablet for cold these days or is there something better. Also have usually gotten cold in oct-feb before, first time in Mid April... more

The common cold usually causes symptoms of- 1. Runny nose, 2. Nasal congestion, 3. Scratchy throat, 4. Sneezing. Occasionally also causes- 1. Sore throat, 2. Decreased appetite 3. Cough, 4. Headache. 5. Postnasal drip 6. Headache 7. Muscle aches. Treatment- a. Steam inhalation, b. Warm saline gargles, c. Plenty of fluids, d. Hot soups, e. Antipyretics as and when required, f. Well, I see that as a business opportunity for someone :) Also, if someone makes it and then it is available in the stores, I wouldn't have to wait for so many years to find someone like you to find this out :) more
