Congratulations circle members on insurance premium increase capping
Big congratulations to all senior citizen members and LC manager who since 2020 have been complaining about massive increase in health premiums by insurance companies. Your efforts have bourne fruit. IRDAI has capped health insurance premium increase for seniors at 10%

If inflation is 5% as govt claims ,why increase of 10% is given ? As pointed out the insurers have already increased the premiums massively. This is just hood winking the insured public who are not salaried and no recourse to payments by their employers. more

But not very useful, all insurers have already increase the premiums by~90%, with the blessing of govt & irda, powered by electoral bonds. Now they are trying to fool we senior citizens. Or do they think senior citizens are as maths illiterate as them. more

Bank officers have their own insurance provided by the bank I think. Besides who will lay for all the things we are asking the government to provide for free. Free Health, free gas, subsidise train travel, free education to name a few. more
