Firstly, congratulations to shri Modiji and his cabinet members on successful completion of 100 days in Government. 2.What anti secular deeds did the Ministers or Modiji indulge in as the pseudo secularists were threatening voters? 3.The stock markets have touched all time high and steady increase in good will in business sector is being felt. 4. it is a truly heart warming sight to see these many people gathering to listen to PM. Earlier we had to be satisfied with a deadly silence in the bygone era. 5.Now i feel that there is someone who is in control of things and everything seems to be moving in a planned direction. more
Totally endorse Ms Bhooma Kumari's sentiments. Heart felt Congratulations to Mr Narendra Modi on his 100 days in office from my side too. Great signals of strength, stability, values, positive action, direction and promise of better days ahead does continue to emnate from this new Government unlike never before. I feel absolutely peeved and perplexed (as to the logic) why the opposition (esecially the English TV media) tries to become hysterical, paranoid and rabid at even well intentioned and innocuous steps taken by the Modi Government (though Modi's staesman-like approach to ignoring such shrill and rabid attacks is paying dividends by automatically exposing the devious News channels and their credibility factor). For instance asking the Children of the country to listen to his lecture on Teacher's Day. Pray what is wrong with this exhortation when the head of the Country wants to communicate with the Children, the future Citizens of this Country, directly. This step should in fact be welcomed by a great step in Nation building, in creating a sense of Nationhood and involvement in the affairs of the Nation ingeneral, in Children. A stellar example of a head of state to communicate with the Children. At this rate I feel, next, the Opposition and selected media channels would cry hoarse and beat their chest, if, consider the Government tries to improve Road Safety and discipline in India by enforcing the 'Keep Left while Driving on the Road'rule, Or, if implementing in earnest and enforcing the anti-littering campaign around the Country- that these are signs of authoritarianism, are anti- democratic, against the ethos of a fee country etc. etc. and so on and so forth. Does Democracy mean Chaos, lack of focus, a free for all situation? Is this what the learned opposition and selected media channels really think and believe Democracy to be or are they playing some insiduous game, upto some nefarious design (at the behest of the opposition) playing spoil sport having lost their exalted status (which was being taken for granted by them/ a sense of entitlement settling in) and the partisan coverage by certain section of the Media (the Media having lost their special status and associated freebies and entitlements being fed regularly by the earlier powers that were). Note, this same section of the Media (some English TV channels especailly) have shown very poor coverage of the PM's Japan visit. In spite of it being uniformally acclaimed. Why? Whcih is why Narendra Modi defused the fizz preemptively and adroitly when gifting the Bhagavad Gita to Mr Abe by saying that probably even this issue would be blown up in his Home country by baying media and opposition. The only reason I think could be that this Government is not feeding these Channels with freebies and stuff which the journalists had become accostomed to (journalistic 'kickbacks') to ensure good coverage and positive reporting. more
Modi is making right moves in many fronts, like national security, employment generation, wooing foreign investment, persuading people to get engaged in cleanliness drives, coaxing and cajoling scientists, encouraging business houses and above all keeping track on ministries. In spite of erratic and poor rainfall the prices are stable. My congratulations and best wishes in all his future en-devours for development of the nation. more
