All imports from China should be temporarily suspended with immediate effect even if it creates crisis in our markets of electronic products. Prevention is more important. more

I too feel that the virus' life is not more than a couple of hours at the maxm. All the goods transported from any country will remain isolate during shipment and the virus will die in a short time. So we need not be over worried about the imports. That we can ban imports from China under this pretext is a different matter - more political / economical than regarding health safety. more

The virus does not survive on non living things for long. The virus uses the human body as the host and transmits from one human to another. By the logic being discussed on this group, all those infected should be left to die. get more awareness as to how a virus spreads and which living being it attacks. Imports that need to be banned are any non veg packaged food since animals like humans act as host to this virus. more
