Date of manufacture packing import of the commodity month and year. d. Maximum Retail Price inclusive of all taxes. e. Generic name of the commodity. f. Customer Care Number with name, address, Telephone No. of the person office which can be contacted in case of consumer complaints. g. Size, if applicable more

The rule is already there but who is to enforce it.Can the consumer take the law in his hands?.The Department should come for ward to enforce the rule and punish the violators. more

Sir, I understand that from 1st July the service charges will be hiked to 18% from the present 15%. This is not only unethical but unacceptable. This will be a great shock to the public. Rather, this tax should be reduced from 15% to 10%. All the public at large stand to lose a great deal of their hard-earned money for nothing - for no services rendered by any individual - it is only the computers at various places render the service. more
