Consumer complaint against Kurlon
I bought an ortho mattress from Kurlon for Rs 17000 but it is causing severe back pain. Kurlon claims that there is no manufacturing defect. Complaint no.is 6H11-18622KUR-1484869. I want to file a case in Consumer Court, Ghaziabad. Kindly help. more

Sometimes, the course taken by a court of law does not appear logical. I also had a similar problem when the judgement was based on the assumption that the cheque given by me was not encashed by the O.P.a I had to go in appeal to the Commission and I won the case finally. But what an enormous lot of misery and financial loss to me! As regards the water quality, if it was bad, the builder should not have constructed the house.It is not for the purchaser to arrange for quality water or to suggest from where it can be made available.All other aspects of quality also have to be taken care by the builder. more

1-09-16 Thanks Mr Shankar Saran. We have got soft copy of order which states copy of order may be sent free to both parties. Will collect hard copies personally from forum. Plea dismissed on the ground 1. Only four pages of contract attached and not full contract( We had attached relevant papers). Complainant trying to hide facts 2. Copy of documents in proof of money spent on repairs not provided. ( We have provided and properly tagged) 3. Copies of the previous judgments attached were not relevant Judge admits OP does not reply to detailed rejoinder of the complainant and did not attend any hearing after 2014 Judge comments if water in Dwarka was not fit for construction and defects were caused because of that from where could contractor get the water. ( He could get same from many other sources) Suddenly judge concludes claim is not admitted and hence dismissed. First time after 7 years Judge heard our case. He should have asked to supply the documents within certain period and if we failed , he could decide. He gave 7 years to OP but not one week to us. Your views on this pl more

Sri Sham Lal Langer, 1. The appeal in the Commission should be submitted within 30 days or receipt of the Order of the Forum. 2.Though sometimes the Forum sends the Order by post, they may delay in some case , like it happened in one of my case, or the order sent by ordinary post may get lost.Better to collect it from the office of the Forum to prevent problems. The Complainant and the O.Ps are entitled to a free copy each of the Order. more
