Consumer forum, waste of tax payers money

Sub : Consumer Courts
For last 8 years I am making rounds of Consumer forum , Shalimar Bagh and getting only date after date as they never have Quorum and no arguments are done and hence no judgment.
Judge suggested to write to you as they are understaff and have too many cases. They want another court to reduce work pressure on them . Their president attends 3 courts in Delhi so it is matter of chance of he is available on my court date . We can easily have three presidents unless we want to make this particular person rich . I like to know why waste tax payers money to set up forum and advertise “ Jago Grahak Jago” when consumer can’t get justice . Why don’t you appoint young career minded judges and why appoint only tired and retired judges who have no ambition and they just pass time in forums and put burden on tax payers. I am now retired senior citizen with heart ailment and fighting the builders to get flat for which I paid and have no money to go to HC
I have another case of my mother in Qutub institutional area pending since 2006 against HSBC . She expired 5 years back without seeing the justice , Their two I get three dates every year . What a joke on consumer moment
Like majority of Indians I have no hopes on Indian judiciary system which works and supports on rich and ready to work in night

Grahak toh jaag Gaya par judiciary sleeps do the conclusion is that the sufferer is the Grahak and they boast of consumer is king but in fact is a pauper and in the mercy of such judges.God help consumers more

I don't understand why the judges raise the issue of scarcity of staff, do the staff help them in giving decisions, My life has also been ruined in consumer court and my case is also pending from last 5 years.. The working style of our courts is ridiculous..Actually the judges are enjoying so much power with no accountability, even the government can't interfere in their system. The British judicial system is still prevalent wherein Britishers wanted the Indians to be busy in court proceedings. It seems that the Government also wants that let the AAM AADMI'S life be busy in court proceedings so that they don't get time to point finger on the performance of Government. Nobody knows when this judiciocratic system will end and there will be time bound decision making system in our Courts. Our former Chief Justice Mr. Deepak Mishra said that expressing Dissent against the government is good for vibrant democracy but if you express dissent against the functioning of the Judiciary than it will be treated as Contempt of Court and you will be jailed, what does this mean that we are not living in a democratic country but in a Judiciocratic country. more

I do agree with you in my own case filed in April 2016 at Shalimar consumer form which is at stage of oral arguments for the last one year since other party do not turns up on fixed date when I requested the member judge to issue notice to other party and charge penalty for non appearance he says your case is in advance stage where as in my court cases are pending for more then 8 years he was telling as if it is matter of pride for him. Government advertise that cases are settled in 6 months in the forum etc etc . There is urgent need to increase forums or add members to reduce the burden if it so. more

ABSOLUTELY TRUE. BY RAISING SLOGAN ...JAGO GRAHAK JAGO....ONLY,DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING. ALSO I WANT TO ADD , WHY THERE SHOULD NEED ARISE FOR FILING INDIVIDUAL COMPLAINT AND APPEARING PERSONALLY BEFORE THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY. IT IMPLIES THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES ARE NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH TO REDRESS CONSUMERS GRIEVENCES. more
