Request you to provide inputs related to key issues faced by consumers in the Food Products industry.

Once we understand the issues, we will root cause them and identify solutions that can be taken to the various Ministries and Departments for implementation.

Allergens should be visibly and prominently specified. Secondly there are a lot of adjectives that the food processing industriy uses that are very misleading. Like the term refined which is very bad for health but marketed like its pure. In reality refined productsare stripped of all the nutrients that are very important more

Sir as Mr. Braham Kapoor pointed out, how are we following up on the white papers that were submitted to the ministries. Did they feedback on those white papers? If yes, what are they? Ifno, how are we pushing them to give us an answer?Theres no point in discussing these things and just letting them go. We would all feel happy if we know that the ministries are acknowledging are efforts and trying to act upon them if not immediately at least in the nearfuture. more
