Consumer Protection Bill 2019

Thanks to opposition members, the government could not pass the much-awaited consumer Protection Bill in Rajya Sabha though it was passed by Lok Sabha. The Bill was listed many times for discussion but could not be taken up.

Our politicians have different standards while in opposition and while in power. The issues they opposed very seriously in opposition become favorite when come to power. double standards in politics . Irrespective of parties all politicians are same and help among themselves. When soft drinks are banned in parliament canteen how they are allowed for public.Public is only spectator. more
Our opposition parties work output is very minimal. They will always resort to work stoppage.I think the time has come when their pay package should be based on their performance and constructive work in parliament.Time for protest must be fixed. It should not be more than 10% of total working hours. more
Politicians should support issues which are in the interest of public in general & country as a whole. more
Hooliganism and blackmail by the Mobs is not Democracy. After all most 80 years of Freedom, We have not been able to establish forms for Political Party, separation of Governance (Chief Minister) & Political Party (Party Head along with its Office Bearers). Role of Councillors, MLAs, Mps as representatives of People's Voice. Responsible Opposition must discuss in Parliament and allegations in Court of Law, and not on Streets. more
