Contracts given to run parking.

I am still not getting why contract is given to third party whereas it can be very well handled by internal management.

Recently I hve been to railway station to pick my mom and I was surprised to see 20rs per hour parking fees for two wheelers. Moreover that guy(fee collector) said many people have made complaints so you also register one.I am happy to give money if that is utilized in proper way to build more facility and process. But all in vein lot of cheating on showing aggregated fees collected plus there has to be corruption to get such contracts.

I think this is simplest thing you can do in order to gain trust and no capital involved rather than just discussing the issues and no action at all.

Request you to take necessary action.

There is shortage of space at railway station to accomodate parking of vehicles. Why not railway think of underground parking in circulating area. more
Recently, I was standing in the platform at Bangalore, waiting for the train to arrive. Though the Platform was neat and clean, the railway track area was absolutely dirty with human excreta openly lying between the tracks. It stuck to me as to why not have a system of circulating water flowing between the tracks that would carry away the excreta rather than allowing it to stagnate, dry and emit dirty smell . The water flow I have suggested can be filtered and re-circulated to make it a ring main system.....If acceptable I can draw out a sketch to explain. more
