Convening of T.N.Assembly

Now it is left to the Governor to convene the House and ask the rival factions to prove their strength / support on the Floor of the House.
In the event of both the factions failing to get the required numbers, the Governor is left with no other option except to recommend President`s Rule in Tamilnadu.
The General Elections will only prove the choice of the people of Tamilnadu.
This will also do away with the practice of Head Counts and Horse Trading. more

It is time we take a realistic call and call for our politicos to be loyal to the Constitution of India and the people who have elected them. It is useless to glorify individuals who are no more and declare loyalty to them as a qualification for election to the Legislature or Parliament. India has suffered enough under the former PM who thought his primary allegiance is to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi and not to the country's well-being. Many people are fed up with both the AIADMK and the DMK. They may like President's Rule for a change from both these parties. A spell of President's Rule may cool the environment somewhat and also give a chance for new entrants on the political scene. L.Kalavathi Retd. I sincerely feel the pre4sidents rule should be the answer more
At this juncture, if the Assembly is dissolved in the event of failure to prove the majority by both the rival camps, only the DMK will be benefited. Since Mr. OPS has claimed that he has been threatened to resign, he should be allowed to continue as CM till he completes the present term of the assembly. Or else he (OPS) can be allowed to prove the majority at the combined floor of the house. People have voted only for JJ and not for Sasikala. Mr. OPS, as true follower, he only can succeed. Sasikala and her family completely tarnished the image of AIADMK and amazed wealth. Mr. Palanisamy is her well wisher & Partner and not JJ's. more
