Corrupt company Shop direct TV selling damaged products to customers
After seeing an add on the TV for LED projector for 5000 INR in Dec 2015. I placed an order, which was promptly replied and delivered but in damaged condition with 3/4 screen being completely black. I have written e-mails to them and called end number of times. They come back saying they are looking into this but no action to refund or replace it.
The agents taking calls are complete duds and they just disconnect our phones
when we call. The company in the meantime continues to make a fool of people through Teleshopping and Internet ( through SHOP DIRECT app) with no after sales accountability or after sales service.
Please advise how to get them to deliver their service without making a fool of people and ripping them of their money!!! more

When you have purchase receipt and correspondence, then it is easy to go to the Consumer Court, serve them notice first. more

You can try on the telephone number given in the ad or of the channel and ask them to telecast your grievances. I think there is a channel TV9 or something like this, which takes up consumer grievances. more

The customer support guys who attend the calls are all duds and actually we just waste our time and money talking to them. more

If a product costing Rs.20000 or Rs.25000 is offered by some one at a paltry amount of Rs.5000 or so, one should immediately be cautious in dealing with such parties or be prepared to face such unpleasant consequences. more
