Corrupt sports federation leadership

We are seeing this latest issue of how medal winner wrestlers have come together to complain about the wrestling federation president (also member of parliament from ruling party) stating that he has engaged in harassment.

Some survey i think by Localcircles has pointed out to nepotism and politicians in sporting bodies.

Can this subject be taken up again? more

Get the government out of sports. You are not USSR. more
Ujjwal being young would really be good as you feel you are on top of the world. However if someone were to comment on the beauty of your sister in hardcore language what would be your reaction? The athlete's are all someone's sister & daughter and you too will have one of your own in future so don't use freedom of speech excuse to spread negativity. we have seen in Mary Com biography as also other sports athlete's biography how the Neta's & bureaucrats exploit these athletes. Sandeep Singh - star hockey player, after donning on Neta Cap along with Police duty has brought disgrace to his office as also to hockey. It is only because of Free Media - to some extent that these criminals in Neta Uniform are being brought to book - at least shamed. Brij Bhushan WFI President would be making some disclosure on 22nd January in a Press Conference where he has pre-warned that it would cause an Earth Quake. I am not surprised if he has acted as a Pimp to provide female athlete's to higher level politicians. Otherwise why is it that despite having criminal background and having been charged for harboring Dawood's associates in 1990 the BJP let him be their party official? Also Sports Minister failed to convince the agitating athletes for 72 hours. What went into this deliberation? Fear of being exposed further? So the party which shouts slogans of Beti Bachao - have they lived up to their reputation? This is for every Indians to Think. more

This does not justify such acts by the Netas who have to set an example; rather they can not help any sports grow. Only professionals and ex-sports persons should be given such responsible positions. These netas do not know anything about sports; so they do all such exploitation thinking as their right to do so. SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS. more

Which Govt. Dump is free from corruption ?. There is no quick and harsh punishment to offenders. The whole system of governance has rotten during the last 5 decades which needs overhsuling by changing existing laws and service rules. more
