corruption and conditional clause 2
Many Government servants have more than one immovable property in the form of flat bunglow etc in major cities some of them are known to me. Some of them own the property in the name of wife though the wife is not employed anywhere. This wealth is amassed mostly through corruption thought they may claim that it is ancestral property.
My question is how a person earning measly salary that also single salary with obligation to support 4 to 5 family members can amass so much wealth. Why no one from Income Tax or other department questions such people , the data of property details for any citizen will be easily available with the property registrar office.
If the present Government is so transparent and committed to corruption free India why they are not taking up the task of cleaning up the system by questioning such Govt. and PSU employees who have acquired multiple properties in own name or wife's name. As long as no action is taken against such offenders who shamelessly amass wealth corruption from India can never be rooted out Corruption free India will remain a slogan without any intrinsic value more

I remember till 80's Karnataka was the least corrupt state and now Karnataka Tops the corruption. Simple example, any department to Affix the SEAL, a class 4 employee demands Rs. 100/ as FEES. Imagine the magnitude of the class 1 employee. Forest officer, Revenue Officer, Pollution control Board officers, RTO, Police are most corrupt, though there could be few Honest, Semi Honest (these group do not demand but accepts whatever they get. We citizen need to wake up, There are TIMID GROUP of people, who are in white colour job, are least interested on such activity at large (barring few). more

Very true corruption is high among civil servants in all departments and all levels, higher being in Municipal corporations across cities and Police force, so also in tax departments. we all need to wake up to keep our interest behind, follow the law and fight corruption to move forward or we will be left far behind... its high time to wake up now for pour future generations more

During the last 50 years, the corruption has spread like wild fire in all wings of administration including judiciary and banking. 3% people are sucking the life blood of 97% silently. The over doze of job security and non accountability of Govt./Public sector employees has contributed a lot to the menace of corruption. The increase in salaries without linkage to performance has proportionately increase the rate of corruption. This is the reason that Post gradues, PhDs, MBAs, etc. are applying for class IV jobs in Govt. sector. No paper moves in any office/courts unless bribe are offered. By paying the demanded amount of bribe, a person can get any approval/certificate/judgement in his favour quickly. If severe punishment in awarded with 6 months and all ill gotten assets are confiscated, it will have cascading effect on corruption. more

Pl accept corruption as the way of life as the people who are responsible to ensure that a common man gets his/ her dues are most corrupt and promoting corruption. A very simple example, lots of people have lost their live's saving in demolition of illegal construction. If some body feels that illegal constructions has stopped, he is highly mistaken. the only difference is that it is flourishing under political patronage. Yes, a common man, who can not pay bribe to the authorities, can not even put a temporary shelter to cover his head.
If you see in placement, the paper has been leaked before the schedule time for the conduct of exam, culprits has been apprehended, yet the result have been declared and people has been appointed. Is it not a naked dance of democracy. Unfortunately a common man can not even speak, if he wants to survive. more

We have many layers of citizens - politicians, administrators, Law enforcement agencies, Police, and then common man. The monitoring and enforcement of law must start from top - that is from politicians and their state and district agencies, no called netas. But who will bell the cat..... more
