corruption at the state level
here is an instance of one of the global companies indirectly forcing contractors working for them,to indulge in this bribe giving.do not want to name the company and state.we were supposed to provide the labour department acknowledgement for compliance at the end of the contract;the concerned govt.official refuses to give this acknowledgement without receiving gratis.when we went back to the company and reported this with a request to support us in this endeavour not to pay gratis,they have indirectly persuaded us to settle amicably with the official,failing which the amount due to us will be withheld.this is the attitude of the global company,with whom we have signed an anti-bribery agreement at the start of the contract. more

here are some practices in our society to develop the habit of easy/free money in the name of TIP or Bakshish or service charge. When People are working for some payment/ salary why TIP/Bakshis/service charge? Are they not paid the wages as per the govt rules? Some have excess money and they do such things, those who can not do that will face troubles. They will be forced to pay the So called TIP. If they are concerned about the "BECHERA" condition, better try for better wages but not for tips. There are conviction cases for bribe of Rs 3/5 also. more

Instead of the global company next time go directly to anti corruption department and lay a trap. Many skeletons may come out. That will be a good service to the country and people of India. more

Corruption is imbedded and if we resist, we lose lakhs and lakhs by the decision makes and bill passing officers who find mistakes and mistakes which is not done when the bribe is paid.
