Corruption due to Toll Collection
Instead of toll some other way should be found out for funding road construction and maintenance. The best way to fund projects is to impose cess on the use of cars trucks buses etc maninly cars SUVs.
Road Transport Department to install a device in each Four wheeler and Two wheeler which will measure the kilometers travelled by each vehicle in a month , the charges for use of public roads to be collected from each vehicle bsed on kilometers covered in a month and everything should be linked to Bank account adhaar card so that the amount gets debited to the account at the end of each month or the vehicle Engine gets deactivated and can not be operated till amount is paid to the Government.
Alternately , the Road TAx to be collected every year by RTA and the amount should be based on the kilometers covered in previous one year which should be measured with the help of tamper proof milo meter to be installed by RTO authorities more
