Corruption Facilitation and Experience - by Sudesh Rai in AAP circle

Sudesh: Hope you don't mind my posting here. Thought we could get feedback from both circles.

Everyone,

based on my experience so far in India, I find most of the corruption is facilitated by chartered accountants, administration professionals, legal professionals, brokers and Delhi has a ton of them.

I know this circle has many professionals belonging to these fields and it must have been very hard from them to survive in the last several decades (if they decide to honestly). Can they share how it all works and is it even possible to eliminate corruption. I don't think it is.

Also, I have seen various Government Officials, Media people join this circle. Please share your experience too, how it all works.

Collective knowledge will help us all and our inputs will help the Government clean it up. more

I am of the opinion that to eliminate corruption, we should follow the famous rule we have in the maintenance think rooms, where we used to find solutions to insurmountable problems of the plants. The first step was always to find out if we can eliminate the machine or the process it self so that the problem does not occur at all. well here too we could find out if we could eliminate all the processes, where corruption occurs and replace it by technology requiring no face to face manual intervention and decision making. remember how much difficulty there was to get the registration done for cycles and TVs when they just came. They were eliminated and all problems & corruption was eliminated. The registration money of cars scooters was to be paid every year, and it was eliminated with the elimination of corruption. Now also throne time payment should be eliminated by adding it to the cost of the car/scooter. The driving licences, passports, shop licenses etc should be made human free through technology. The greatest of corruption in Revenue services of income, sales, excise tax should be replaced by technology based tax and no forms or filing should be required. Tax should automatically be credited to the centre and state governments through banks, technologically, based on transactions. All salary payments should be made based on aadhaar through banks. Further thought should be given to this and it would reduce the government employment, and the employees no with them should be used for better work. The could be sent to the PSUs to do a proper job and earn instead of moving paper. Yes it is possible to eliminate and use technology to replace the corrupt system and people. Only if there is a WILL to do so. My famous saying the every organisation requires the three things encapsulated in WET, viz. T stands for technology E stands for equipment & the most important W stands for WILL. If there is no WILL even your morning tea would to be served, since the will to serve the tea is needed for the servant/wife/daughter/husband/son to make it first, and then it needs the knowledge of the tea making technology followed by the equipments like tea bags/sugar/milk/pan/gas etc. But al this starts front eh will, else no one will wake up to make it!!!!! Right? more

We cry a lot more on corruption, but when it comes 2 our own interest, we ourselves feed this monster. Excuse my saying so as there may b many who have lived life upright n this post is not meant for them. To make nation corruption free, we should also take d trouble to tolerate n adhere 2 d procedure laid out. This may cost time n travel. Secondly 2 be corruption free. we must not indulge in wrongful gain 2 ourselves. For example someone posted on this circle regarding bribe being demanded by a babu of DDA for extension of his home. Later it turned out that he was encroaching the Govt land n wanted it 2 be regularized. U see under such conditions who is going 2 help d situation? more
