It ranges from Making Files vanished &/or Documents thereof, at nick of time, mainly before Closing of Evidence &/or the Argument stage - resulting in to prolonging the matters for three four years further. In certain instances judgements are so "cryptic and obscure manner" raising procedural &/or technical issues of its minute details /reasons - whereas Merit of the case/matter is totally ignored clearly visible, mainly in matters wherein victims are found financially, technically weak/poor to Challenge, initiate appeals &/or further proceedings. In some of the matters the Basic Concept of Consumer is curtailed to the effect to raise very question - whether it is for Consumer's Welfare OR of Culprits Benefits. As against this, similar other matters are well getting decided and Executed. OR STAY granted even without opportunity to Opposite Party One of other aspect is "Interest charged/Permitted" wherein rates differed dramatically. Last but not the least- say 5 to 10/15 advocates are regularly getting their cased on board and decided whereas other's have to wait for years which ranges from 4/5 to 8/10 years. Thanks GOD that Hon'ble SC & HC issued directions to decide matters above five years - compelling to make some movements to side tracked(Without any reason) matters. more

There must be a time frame for every case except the cases where special consideration is required with proper justification on record. more

I have seen and experienced corrupt judge in the consumer court of Telangana, who has been supporting erring builder in Hyderabad, who is facing 300+ cases of fraud and cheating. The judge has repeatedly postponed hearings in a number of cases without any proper justification, to favour the builder. My case went on for over an year and at last, when my advocated started repeatedly protesting and shouting, the case went towards the judgment. Even after the judgment, unfortunately the same judge has to execute the judgment, for which he again started taking more time. My advocate then transferred the case to NCLT under a newly introduced law of bankruptcy by the Modi government, which took less than 15 days for the builder to comply with payment of compensation. Otherwise it would have taken another one year under this corrupt judge. Thanks to Modi Government for introducing these revolutionary legal practices, which helped me in getting back my money early. The main point is - behavior of consumer courts. Undoubtedly corrupt as per my experience. more
