All the points raised are covered by legal provisions and settled by detailed written instructions .There may be failure to follow the instructions but the position is very clear even now. more
Mr. Sunil Pal, can you please give the email id of the consumer court? Thanks for your help. more
The points raised are important, but how to bell the cat ? Government should stream line the basic factors and the items are to be codified and if possible time frame has to be fixed for quick disposal of the case. The remark "justice delayed is justice denied" is only in pen and paper. No one is serious for the reason in delay and non disposal of number of cases for years together. Let there be proper system for quick disposal of each item raised above. more
Mr Charan has ably serialized the various stages in a legal case on each of which delays occur...in fact are made to occur.....it is Cosidered normal for any case to take years....the whole system needs to be thoroughly reviewed and amended......machinery for out-of-court settlements be encouraged and strengthened... courts for small causes be separated and increased in numbers... Scope/definition of "small causes" be widened to include cases upto Rs 1 lakh, family courts for small inter-family differences/ fights....moving with the times, divorce cases must be decided much quicker.....computerization of all court records...... surprisingly even the DEATH and BIRTH registers are not computerized.....property registration has so much improved because of computerization....though "tips" have still to be paid overall, the judges/magistrates must realize that it is their responsibility and only THEY can reduce the huge number of pending cases in courts...... more
Just write an email regarding this thing with make cc as consumer court. See how they will reply immediately. I also got the same issue with flipkart once on the same day I replaced my product. more
