Corruption in Media - Inputs on Issues

Many of you through your posts and comments over the last couple of months have written about Corruption in Media.

With this post, we would like to seek your inputs on corruption issues you have observed/experienced in Media.

If you have a specific case, you are welcome to share it as a regular or anonymous post.

Together, we would like to put efforts on this front and work with investigation bodies so corrupt practices in media industry can be addressed and the industry as a whole can be strengthened.

most PR companies give gifts to most journos or pay them for the coverage of their clients. How do you plan to address that more  
There are four pillars of democracy (i) Political leaders (ii) Administration (iii) Judiciary & (iv) Media. As on date except a few all are corrupt then how can we expect Media to be honest? If I want to publish an article media would ask me "why?" If it affects any one from whom their interest is going to get effected it will not be published. So we need to control corruption at all levels by pursuing the mission of cost effective governance. more  
I observed that most of the news anchors generally elevated towards feminism, for ex. if any debate regarding crime on women, misuse of female laws etc happens, they highly speak towards women, not men. If any crime on men happens, no one bother about it, not highlighted like women. It implies that there is some kind of, like female NGOs, departments, Govt. etc may support them internally by highlighting such events, which forms a kind of corruption. Thanks more  
corruption has become omnipresent. persons taking money as well as those giving money should be severely punished. Transparency in all transactions should be made mandatory and time limit for passing orders should fixed more
