In Public Sectors Like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL Companies, the corruption is very high in Procurement and Maintenance contracts. Mostly, these types of PSUs do not deal directly with public, so the corruption is not highlighted or observed. The information of corruption is remaining among the employees only. In Most of cases, the management is hiding and protecting the corrupt employees for hiding their inefficiency, and employees are also not taking interest for disclosing the corruption thinking that there is no personal loss or gain to them due to corruption in organization. They see only their own benefit and stay least concerned. more
Thank you for your candid remarks. I believe that if we as individuals and as a society at large were a little more demanding and non negotiating, possibly a lot can be achieved. USA and EUROPE, SOUTH EAST ASIA are no different. The CATS need to be belled by you, me and all togethers in true earnest and true support for each other. Possibly we also need to use technology at private forums that will become acceptable in the long run and give protection from the governing system against any harassment or embarrassments. The team works will help. We need to find ways to remove corrupt from positions; possibly against PUBLIC COMPLAINTS. We also need to encourage Public Participation. One man may have self interest or personal prejudices, but public at large will stand by the TRUTH and HONEST and the the COURAGEOUS and the HELPFUL. The protection to the Bureaucracy has to go. The protection to the Politicians has to go. The protection to Corrupt Police has to go. The protection to the corrupt Judiciary has to go. The people at large need to be taken SERIOUSLY. Their grievances at large need to be taken seriously and addressed promptly. Now that we are in, better we all support immediate actions on the above. The PUBLIC NEEDS TO TAKE ITSELF SERIOUSLY. All is achievable. On Wed, Dec 28, 2016 at 9:55 AM, Sanjay Dalal wrote: > more
