CORRUPTION IN REAL ESTATE SECTOR
ACTUAL SELLER OF REAL ESATE IS CHEATED BY A CHAIN OF SELF STYLED UNREGISTERED ESTATE BROKERS WHO TRANSFER POWER OF ATTORNY AND MAKE BLACK MONEY THROUGH BENAMI BUYERS. THEN ENTRY OF NAME IN REVENUE RECORD AND CITY SURVEY RECOD IS FULL OF CORRUPTION . THEY RAISE SO MANY FRIVOLOUS OBJECTIONS OF WHICH THE HELPLESS BUYER HAS NO SOURCE TO ANSWER EXCEPT SURRENDERING TO PAY BRIBE. more

Authentication and responsibility of registration must be on registration authority. Even they take more time to register. Once registered means it must be end of all questions about that property. Registration without Responsibility gives scope to all sorts of cheating. It is like power without responsibility. more

It is really very unfortunate still then we have to fight for justice. once the culprit is exposed probably it may subside but not known for how many days. more

Any honest seller or builder cannot be cheated. GPA or agreement to sell and holding them for long years are intended for benami holdings. If the government kept the validity for such documents after registration, then 60% of the benami holding will come down. Merely crying that this man is corrupt that man is corrupt, you have all legal protection and legal remedies if your intention is not to cheat in the process of illegal transactions. Broker is wrong, vendor is wrong are all because we go for corrupt deals. more

Sir, it is true every where.Every one wants to make India corruption free but it is very unhappy to note that some how all are involved in the game.Once we take it is ok but when other one damands we cry that he is corrupt.Better solution is "HUM SUDHRENGEY,YUG SUDHREGA".All the members of all circles can submit their declaration that they will neither take nor give bribe in any means, let the work suffer for a couple of days , the officers will have to work as per the guarantee to work. more

This was happening sometime back but it is my understanding that most of the state governments have made it mandatory to pay the stamp duty and registration charges on full (govt. rates) value even on GPAs. Thus, the GPA becomes equivalent at least in terms of treatment by Registration Authorities to a transaction. This I understand reduces fraudulent transactions, if not totally eliminate them. more
