Corruption in Rural India - Issues
With this post we would like everyone in the circle to share the common forms of corruption prevalent in rural India that affect the citizens. These could range from land issues to banking and from filing police complaints to getting an identity card.

in Ichhapur, WB, one Mr Singh is mining sand from the river bed. he is pumping out the mud, washing it on the banks and forwarding almost 600 trucks everyday. Majority of our rural people used to be either illiterate or educated up to middle 10th class, poor or financially too weak. They are known for their simplicity. They are respectful to others but rarely get respect from others, particularly, from the government employees and others who consider themselves superiors. These factors make the difference and every one wants to make money by deceiving these people, it may be either a patwari or a policewala or even a bank officer but every one practise the similar tacts to make money out of turn but these people are sufferers the most! more

Very difficult to mention in few lines. Must repeat must make politician and policeman aware that they are just another human being and a public servant and people should not be afraid of them. It is interesting to note that they blost by continuous and hard public service. Govt has a duty to keep checking this problem. more

Friend we are forgetting the basic point what is government. It is we . We give and take bribes. And we are writing on this wall. At least we can write the the names of the people who take bribes if we are really concerned . Our circle is being taken seriously by government. more
