Corruption in State Education Departments
With this post we would like to seek your inputs on corruption activities in the state education system, primarily in deployment of Government, NGO, Aid Funds. Kindly share all issues that you have observed. Once we understand the issues, we will have a seperate discussion on Root Causes and Solutions.
The objective here is to work with stakeholders to create awareness and get them to fix some of the gpas that will help minimize corruption in state education so funds are effectively utilized to educate our kids.

Off late the root cause of corruption is mid day meal. Stop opening of private schools with high cost admission in the name of uniform and english course. more

The state of affairs of each and every department of the government tells its own story and is not necessary for every one to observe and then comment. If the government is sincere and serious to find out the areas of corruptions prevailing in its education department and plug it for ever, it can easily do it. But the question remains is that in the event of a '0' corruption situation, what will happen to the fate of the concerned politicians, leaders and the officers! Hence, even if we identify the areas where corruption is prevailing, speak out the root causes and suggest the solutions, the corruption has already spread up its roots in deep and will continue to stay with pride. more

Corruption being omni present, isolating education department alone will not help.Corruption,wherever it is, has to be erradicted. more

this is one of the country where state education is at worst. 1. no accountability of responsible person 2. lack of uniformity in Quality standards 3. inspite of having huge area of gov school there is no upgradation 4. can anybody ask the responsible authority what was the last date when they even think of renovation & upgradation of School. 5.how the funds of schools are utilised. 6. what are the payscale of school teachers why good teachers does't want to join. 7.what facilities are needed to upgrade teaching pattern. 8.huge amont is expensed every year but where it goes no body knows. 9.any private organisation ready to participate & what are their requirments. more
