Now Education is left at the hands of teaching community who are not at all dedicated and not doing their minimum to justify their earning. The quality of teaching, if at all, is awful and future generation of students are left in the hands of such teachers. To add this there is huge corruption happening at the entire structure of Education Dept/Schools. Govt need to handle this issue with strict hands and the Govt is very much aware how these things are happening in the department. more
Until & Unless every govt employee is hard working & honest, there would be no change. We need to change mindsets. It is not that they are caught red handed & punished. They should avoid wrong doings from heart. People should abstain wrong doings not from fear of punishment but eternally. more
Teachers recruited should have the passion for teaching. They should not be allowed to join only for the sake of money-getting fat salaries sitting at home or doing some other businesses. There needs to be regular check on the teachers. No absentee without a solid reason and applying for the leave--otherwise deduct the salary. Regular absentees should be out of the job. Once the Principal asked one of the teachers for being absent for so long but drawing full salary, why? The reply the Principal got was, "Ma'm I need money so I am not going to resign even if you ask me to do so". If there are no checks on them this is going to be the state of affairs. more
