Corruption in Tamil nadu
I run an industry in Tamil Nadu.
We need to bribe every government department to run industry. If I name them I have a fear whether I will be able to run the industry or they will find reasons to close it....
I have bribed the Industrial minister to get SIPCOT land allocation and Sipcot officials for registration
Bribed pollution control department to get Consent to operate
Bribed the Electricity board officers to get power supply
Bribed the Inspector of factories to get Factory Licence
Bribed the Fire service inspector to get Fire safety licence
Bribed the health inspector to get NOC
Bribed the local police station to register FIR for Theft items(Still not found)
and no action on that
Bribed the local politician and local people so that they dont create any unnecessary trouble.
They fixed rates for different approvals and licences for different people. With out bribing you cannot run industry in tamil nadu. more

At least they have a menu card and fixed charges. some do not do the job or reject the request. they simply delay, that is worse than corruption. Let any one say any thing, corruption is ruling and continue to rule. more

Sir, Nothing surprising. While Corruption is institutionalised in India in general, Tamilnadu performs worse than most states in this respect. Just grin and bear it. more
