Corruption in the name of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

I have a huge problem with PM Modiji's Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan, because it is only on paper. Day in and day out we get to see what a farce this project is. Nothing new because PM Modiji is known for making popular announcement to, entice voters. Toilets built have no septic tanks, no water, no no doors. In fact, in several places only a cover is put on a mud trench in the name of septic tank. This is not a figment of my imagination. These are what we see on TV channels which expose the corruptions in the name of Swacch Bharat. The Cong Govt. used to play a beautiful and very very meaning cartoon conveying the importance of Swachata and the need to maintain cleanliness. BJP is doing nothing of the sort except their politicians and celebraties grabbing two second media bytes by posing with a broom in their hands, cheap publicity this, Not to forget the Swachhata Tax!!!! legal loot of aam aadmi by the BJP govt. (brainchild of PM Modiji who excels in such crap) more

I am not fully agreed to what you said. However can't disagree too. Swatch Bharat Abhiyan has 2 aspects. First to make people aware about the importance of cleanliness, second to provide facilities like toilets, dustbins etc. One thing I would like to add here that basically cleanliness and sanitation is the matter of local Govt. not the central Govt. There could be the cases where corruption is involved but that can't fade the importance of drive. People are more aware and taking caution. There is remarkable improvement, but to achieve the target it may take few more years, may be a decade. Have patience, keep faith in Modi Govt. He is a blessing to the country. more
There is hardly any visible improvement in last 3.5 years. The municipalities are most corrupt. Money is spent and the work happens only on paper. Two big diggings done by water supply department 4 years back in our area are still lying like that . You see ugly mounds of mud where passing vehicles kick up dust. Encroachment on green belt has increased . The green cover is coming down . Disap[pointing indeed. more
