Corruption's Impact on family

It is painful to see the suicide by wife and daughter of DG Corporate Affairs after he was arrested by CBI for Corruption.

I hope every Govt employee takes this seriously and no court stops the arrest by CBI for corruption cases. Just because 2 people committed suicide the country should not take an easier stand on corruption. Its important every babu in state and central govt take lesson from this and stop such malpractices.

If CBI or some other body can also play a role in pvt sector corruption with such punishments, it will be great for country. more

arrests are made at the time of booking the case .wide publicity is given on booking the case and arresting. It is good, the corrupt should be punished without any doubt. but when some are proved not guilty then the same amount of publicity may be needed to (at least) partly undo the damage caused to them. also time limit must be there to punish. the powerful are managing to keep the cases pending and the helpless are suffering most. In some departments even promotions are given while the case is pending. those who manage get the cases pending and enjoy all the benefits till their retirement. If they are proved guilty what's the use the after retirement. we need to demand timely decision on the cases in the department or court to keep the corrupt under check. after all how many cases (%)are proved genuine cases or otherwise. Faster justice is needed to check the corrupt. JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED. The public need justice . they are not bothered weather publicity is given or not. After all, the public is feeding decision makers. more

I strongly disagree. The court should avoid the arrest of curropt officers if possible because the people making the arrest themselves are curropt. Plus it does not makes sense that the family suffers because of the doing of one man. The right step would be to make the jobs unsafe for these officials who think they inherited it. Fire them if they don't work. No suspension, fire them. more

Losing a life is sad but I wonder why the family did not commit suicide while the man was taking bribes. While enjoying the ill gotten gains this family was with the husband and were not embarrassed enough to stop him but were a part of the corruption. So I don't have any empathy for such people. It is time we stopped empathizing with criminals and all those who support criminals. Is it time to say enough and take a touch stand? more
