Cost for cashless transactions
With Digital India, we were asked to transact through cards. To our surprise these transactions cost more than cash transactions. If a ticket is booked through card, it costs more, even season tickets are not exempted. This discourages cashless transaction. Railways must look into this and do the needful more

cashless transactions should be made free at banks and all for sometime .Then a small amount maybe collected for transfers etc more

I feel still cashless is Cheap, If someone goes to Ticket Counter , HE/SHE needs spent money on Petrol or other mode of transport charges, stand in queue, pay parking and most important is time. more

IRCTC can try creating a Digital Wallet for customer where we transfer a certain amount before making the transaction and when the ticket is purchased, amount can be debited from the wallet. All digital transactions should be free of charge. more

cashless transaction for certain amount say 2000 or 5000 should be taxless or without payment gateway charge so that more and more passengers will opt to it. more
