Could Delhi elections end this dream run of BJP ? Please discuss.
- It has been 9 months since the popular central government, and we all can see (to some extent) what has been done so far (other than fancy speeches, like Acche Din Aayenge) ? Now the Modi wave has subsided, so people are now thinking realistically again.
- Arvind Kejriwal was most popular person of India at one time, and his effect can change equations for BJP easily if people vote rationally and not based on rumours and wrong notions.
- Central government is just like UPA 1, where after winning in Lok Sabha, they won some state elections and once they lost a state election things started changing for UPA 1. People were forced to vote to UPA 2 because of lack of leadership in BJP.
- These Delhi elections might just change the tide against BJP which will certainly make things better for India as a nation. Because this is a stable government, there will surely be lesser scandals because nobody will have courage to speak against the majority government. But if AAP forms the government in Delhi then certainly BJP will be forced to perform otherwise they very well know they can easily be finished in next elections, because this leadership cannot lead a coalition government (for that you need mediators like Advani Ji).
- AAP scored an impressive 28 seats in last elections which nobody ever though in their dreams. This clearly shows that BJP (last scored 31 seats) is no longer the only option for people of Delhi. Hence if the tide flows for AAP this time, it will surely get a majority. We all know by now that this fact cannot be shown in any of the exit polls because of the pressure from BJP (and Congress also) which control this ENTIRE Indian media.
- Just think about the timing of the below events,
1. The PM's first rally in Delhi for these elections was followed by the Vibrant Gujarat Summit the very next day.
2. Obama (in spite of all security threats) visits India on Republic Day, which is 15 days before Delhi elections. Because he desperately needs business by selling Defence deals. US economy is in all sorts of trouble and for them these deals matter a LOT. I am not sure whether India can make similar defence deals with any other nation at a much cheaper price.
- Why were Delhi elections not declared earlier ? Why does BJP need all this media hype ahead of Delhi elections ? Answer is straight-forward, capitalize most from Modi wave. If Delhi elections were declared along with other state elections (or before them), AAP's victory would have finished this Modi wave and so called honeymoon time of BJP.
