Could Delhi elections end this dream run of BJP ? Please discuss.

- In the earlier state (Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand, J&K) elections of 2014, there was no CM candidate of BJP, and hence due to Modi wave, BJP outperformed. In Delhi elections, after the BSES connections of Dr. Upadhyaya becoming public, BJP was forced to declare Kiran Bedi as CM. Reasons for choosing Kiran Bedi were simple, she was part of Anna Hazare movement (though recently Anna Ji publicly spoke against Kiran Bedi joining BJP), and chances of her getting defamed by AAP were very less (because AAP leaders worked with her in Anna Hazare movement).

- It has been 9 months since the popular central government, and we all can see (to some extent) what has been done so far (other than fancy speeches, like Acche Din Aayenge) ? Now the Modi wave has subsided, so people are now thinking realistically again.

- Arvind Kejriwal was most popular person of India at one time, and his effect can change equations for BJP easily if people vote rationally and not based on rumours and wrong notions.

- Central government is just like UPA 1, where after winning in Lok Sabha, they won some state elections and once they lost a state election things started changing for UPA 1. People were forced to vote to UPA 2 because of lack of leadership in BJP.

- These Delhi elections might just change the tide against BJP which will certainly make things better for India as a nation. Because this is a stable government, there will surely be lesser scandals because nobody will have courage to speak against the majority government. But if AAP forms the government in Delhi then certainly BJP will be forced to perform otherwise they very well know they can easily be finished in next elections, because this leadership cannot lead a coalition government (for that you need mediators like Advani Ji).

- AAP scored an impressive 28 seats in last elections which nobody ever though in their dreams. This clearly shows that BJP (last scored 31 seats) is no longer the only option for people of Delhi. Hence if the tide flows for AAP this time, it will surely get a majority. We all know by now that this fact cannot be shown in any of the exit polls because of the pressure from BJP (and Congress also) which control this ENTIRE Indian media.

- Just think about the timing of the below events,
1. The PM's first rally in Delhi for these elections was followed by the Vibrant Gujarat Summit the very next day.
2. Obama (in spite of all security threats) visits India on Republic Day, which is 15 days before Delhi elections. Because he desperately needs business by selling Defence deals. US economy is in all sorts of trouble and for them these deals matter a LOT. I am not sure whether India can make similar defence deals with any other nation at a much cheaper price.

- Why were Delhi elections not declared earlier ? Why does BJP need all this media hype ahead of Delhi elections ? Answer is straight-forward, capitalize most from Modi wave. If Delhi elections were declared along with other state elections (or before them), AAP's victory would have finished this Modi wave and so called honeymoon time of BJP.

After a high level meeting of BJP, Arun Jaitley hinted that some relief may be provided in the coming Budget session. Why they are now saying all these things ahead of Delhi Elections ? Now we all understand the purpose of Obama visit just ahead of assembly elections. Simply unbelievable, why are they so afraid of AAP ? What will AAP do if it comes to power ? Please enlighten us. more
Some news channels reported that since declaring Kiran Bedi as CM has backfired, BJP is looking to declare some reliefs or schemes that will prove beneficial for the middle class people. Another desperate attempt by BJP to regain the lost faith of the middle class voters of Delhi. Will this strategy work to appease voters of Delhi ? more
Ramniwas jee To be honest. dedicated and literate are required qualification. Dishonesty is a disqualification and punishable under law. These are not special merits but minimum required qualification. There is no other alternative but to be honest and dedicated in one's duty. Can you give me any example of Kiran Bedi achievements during her 40 years of long experience as she is always commenting in her own self praising style. To be an IPS officer ....which many of the girls can achieve and are achieving. But this does not give anybody power to insult a P.M. to get praise by craning his CAR. Is police corruption finished....Is police man approach to public changed ...Is atmosphere of tihar jail (With other jails) improved...Is jhuggi-jhopdi wala are all literate having thrown away the criminal life .....to crane P.M.car can never be described as a good representation in present International scenario. This is an open insult of P.M. For which she must have been suffered and she has suffered. This is her achievement. I don't want to comment on her family life. If she is failed there she cannot definitely work with R.S.S dedicated youth. and old members and heritage of RSS. Dictatorship works with power and if she is given power she will be a dictator not adjusting with anybody in BJP. Moreover what is her ideology....She want fame by hook or by crook. Analyze her behavior and ideology of only past three years...you will be compelled to speak the truth. She is nothing but self egoist...ATAM -KENDRIT. Kya kiya hey apney 40 saal mein....nothing..... bus apney aapko khabron mein rakhna... to get praise for nothing done... more
Please note that I am not against any politician. It is just that I am trying to understand who will a better Chief Minister and which party is better for Delhi as a state. more
