COUNTERFEIT CHEATING WEB ECOMMERCE SITES .
COUNTERFEIT COMMERCE WEB SITES delivering counterfeit products is a at least bearable phenomena that they cheat 50% but I had a very different experience ,where a website Quicksop.com. Never delivered a item at all . The Delhi address given of their office is a barren land piece where no bldg exist when a police man visited ? Our police is in hand with gloves with such people. After the payment phone No. Disappeared in thin air and till today after months togather no dilvery of goods ? Consumer is left to fend themselves. Mind you the amount was in thousands for I phone ! I am senior citizen and finds difficult to chase these cheaters ,police never pays atten from where there is no benefit .Many such fake websites exist in this country ? Might be registered or not registered ,who is registration authority ? But they do live cheat and prosper here in this country. Helpless citizen ? more

Payment of the cost of any product in advance, that too, to a company barely known, is foolishness. Moreover, in the event of quoting the price of any product at just unbelievable discounted level, say, 50% or more, should immediately make the prospective purchaser alerted and get ready to face any unpleasant situation in the event of proceeding towards the purchasing. So is the case with you. more

Better to avoid e-commerce websites. Judging from the lack of police response and also the judicial delays to achieve justice. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 22/03/2018 more
It is a very common situation.Police does not take any interest till they find some benefit for them. In my view, their should be penalty for not taking any action by the police. Dr N C Jain more
It is a well known fact that 50% Online Shops are Fake Worldwide !! You better Check the Promoters' Credentials for any New Online Shopping site and use Cash on Delivery or COD as your Payment Method, even if it costs a little Extra. I once also got cheated by a Hyderabad based Site while buying 2 decent Mobiles at Rs. 2000/- way back in 2013-14 and their Phone was never answered + Address was some small shop with some Gundas manning it !! I guess Police has better things to do than chase every Rs. 1000-2000 fraudsters anyways !!!! more
Worldwide it is even worse !! It's still new in India and online buying is just starting in India in the last few years .... more
Is it in India or WORLDWIDE ? more
